Two French initiatives to secure energy supplies, in Hirams and the Red Sea

United States President Donald Trump received French President Emmanuel McCron in New York on the margins of the United Nations General Assembly. The meeting addressed two key issues: on the issue of Ukraine ' s support and pressure for the resumption of negotiations between Russia and Ukraine, on the one hand, on the other, the focus on energy security through a French proposal to secure Saudi energy installations in a strictly defensive approach, as well as a French initiative in the Security Council to separate the trajectory of the Harms Strait from other files between Washington and Tehran for the purpose of securing global energy supplies.
