The Ethiopian crisis is worsening among opposition alliances and rising regional tensions.

Ethiopia is experiencing a very delicate phase as internal tensions escalate and differences with a number of neighbouring States escalate, in a scene that raises concerns about the widening instability in the Horn of Africa region. Between armed rebellions and anti-Government alliances, and disagreements with Eritrea, Egypt and the Sudan on security and strategic files, there are increasing questions about the ability of Addis Ababa to contain the crisis and prevent it from becoming a wider regional conflict.
