In the midst of country endeavours to revive the negotiating path between Washington and Tehran, United States President Donald Trump said that United States officials had spoken to intermediaries and expected a victory soon in the war with Iran, while Tehran had denied the existence of planned direct negotiations. This coincided with tension around the Hiramus Strait and escalating in Yemen, Saudi Amirati movements and a visit to Benjamin Netanyahu to Abu Dhabi.
