Canada. The victory of the separatists in the Quebec elections brings the independence file back to the front.

The Quibek separatists won the provincial elections, as preliminary estimates have shown by several media, and will form the next Government in the Francophone Canadian province, with a new independence referendum. Their return to power poses a major challenge to Prime Minister Mark Karni in the absence of any indication of a solution to the trade dispute with Washington and other separatist tendencies in the oil-rich province of Alberta.
