West Hollywood is the newest American city to recognize multi-partner family structures.

The West Hollywood City Council, on Tuesday, unanimously voted on a resolution granting legal protection to multi-partner family structures, such as other American cities such as Somerville and Cambridge in Massachusetts. The city in Los Angeles defines liberal orientation and support for homosexual relations and alternative lifestyles.
