Is the climate file back on the United Nations agenda after the end of Guterres?

As the end of the state of Antonio Guterres approaches, the climate file returns to the front of the international debate. Gutierresh made the fight against climate change one of the top priorities of his mandate, warning of the risks of emissions and the role of oil giants. At the same time, the United Nations warns against the effects of climate phenomena, including El Niño, on health and communities. But does the decline in climate presence among some Guterres succession candidates reflect a decline in the priority of the case within the organization? Could the American position on climate change affect the positions of candidates for that position?
