Competitive parties in Morocco seek to persuade voters to participate in the voting, either through electoral groupings headed by their leaders or government party ministers or through leaflets on social media sites. Since the launch of the electoral campaign on 10 September, more than 7,000 candidates have sought to win the votes of some 16 million electors who choose 395 members of the House of Representatives. A new Government with a mandate of five years is to emerge from the Council to be set up by these elections.
