According to polls on the exit of the ballot box, outgoing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was on Tuesday at the elbow-to-neck with his rival Gadi Eisenkot following the first parliamentary elections in Israel since the attacks of 7 October 2023. Gadi Eisenkot said he was ready to form a government. The participation rate is 77.7%, the highest since 1999.
