Chile decrees a state of disaster in an area of the capital as a result of heavy rains

On Thursday, October 8, President José Antonio Kast decreed a state of disaster in the area of Las Condes, in eastern Santiago. The area was affected by a stream of water that dragged vehicles and buses into the steep streets of the capital.
