In France, the repercussions of student protests continue despite the Government ' s announcement of a package of actions aimed at addressing the shortage of educational personnel and improving secondary school conditions. While the Government considers that the appointment of 3,000 alternative professors represents a practical step towards containing the crisis, many students consider that their demands go beyond the shortage of teachers to include the quality of education, infrastructure and resources allocated to the sector.
